                               RESOLUTION NO. 19118
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE TREE PLANTING
                   PLAN ON CITY PROPERTY WHICH PLAN IS PROPOSED
                   IN THE GRANT APPLICATION FOR AN AMERICA THE
                   BEAUTIFUL URBAN AND COMMUNITY FORESTRY
                   INITIATIVE "CHALLENGE GRANT," AND
                   AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR OF PARKS AND
                   RECREATION TO RELEASE THE TENNESSEE DIVISION
                   OF FORESTRY FROM ANY LIABILITY ASSOCIATED
                   WITH CONTRACTORS, VOLUNTEERS OR LOCAL
                   GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES WORKING ON THE PROJECT.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby endorsed the
       Tree Planting Plan on City property which plan is proposed in the 

       grant application for an America the Beautiful Urban and 
Community
       Forestry Initiative "Challenge Grant;" and
       	    	 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Administrator of the
       Department of Parks and Recreation be and is hereby authorized to 

       release the Tennessee Division of Forestry from any liability
       associated with contractors, volunteers or local government
       employees working on the project.
